Position: Store Manager

Location: Subway, Ormeau Village, Queensland

Subway Ormeau Village is a family operated business and are also multi-unit owners. They have grown their family business to 5 stores on the Northern Gold Coast.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
- Provide a safe work environment for employees and promote exceptional customer service
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees to achieve targets and maintain a positive work environment whilst also upholding Subway’s high standards
- Order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels
- Handle staff scheduling, timesheets, and other administrative duties
- Create daily banking and managing cash
- Perform stocktakes to manage inventory and account for missing stock
- Analyse the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report to improve business performance and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with Subway’s brand and health and safety regulations
- Be in-charge of overall store cleanliness and maintenance of the store
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers

**Requirements**:

- Subway experience and previous managerial experience in quick service restaurants is preferred, however, not a requirement
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to deal with and resolve staff issues and escalating to the franchise owners
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of financial management, budgeting, and meeting store KPIs
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
