**The Position**

The responsibilities of the role are, and is not limited to:

- Manage the Clinical Development Centre to achieve trial recruitment and quality objectives for Oceania across sites in Australia and New Zealand, and drive CDC strategy and overall trial allocations, capacity management, productivity, site selection and feasibility strategies, quality and training initiatives within the CDC
- Collaborate with regions above affiliate, other CDC units within Novo Nordisk globally and other Oceania teams to ensure high quality relationships with stakeholders, as well as provide clear communication with all key stakeholders.
- Perform regular workload assessments and ensure productivity is maintained and optimised on an ongoing basis
- Evaluate effectiveness of trial processes and local practices and adopt a continuous improvement approach to increasing efficiency and simplicity
- Ensure a positive and high-performance culture within the CDC, and is responsible for the overall maintenance of site requirements and budgeting. Establish and maintain good relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, vendors, external clients, ethics committees and Health authorities

**Qualifications**
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience within clinical trial management
- Experience with people leadership, including management of managers
- A Degree qualification in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with operations management within a clinical setting
