As an Industrial Relations Specialist at EACH you will be working closely with the HR Director and HR Operations Manager where you will play a pivotal role partnering with HR and the business to provide specialist advice and coaching on a range of Industrial Relations matters.

This role will leverage upon your deep industrial relations expertise to provide advanced industrial advice and interpretation across various legislation whilst providing recommendations that deliver commercial and practical solutions for EACH.

Based out of EACH’s head office located in Ringwood, the role is multifaceted, covering employment laws, liaising with Fairwork, employer industry groups, unions, and general interpretation of several industrial instruments, providing frameworks for change initiatives, advisory support and report writing.

In this position, having a calm methodical disposition, resilience, the ability to influence and multitask is essential. Your ability to clearly share information and learnings with the team and have an approachable attitude along with a sense of humour will also be put to good use.

**Qualifications**
You are someone who will:

- Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant industrial instruments and legislation applicable to EACH.
- Participate in bargaining for updated or new enterprise agreements.
- Supports HR Business Partners with the investigation of industrial complaints to ensure that accurate and timely industrial advice is provided to inform next steps.
- Actively audits and provides reports/recommendations to EACH with regards to industrial relations matters and processes across EACH.
- Support the implementation of robust enterprise agreement frameworks and processes.
- Provide technical expertise to HR Operations Manager and HR Business Partners in managing complex industrial relations matters.
- Participate and drive key industrial projects as requested.
- Collaborate with HR and external parties as necessary to resolve matters.
- Ensure that EACH’s policies and industrial procedures are compliant and best practice.
- Support the business with preparing and defending legal matters including but not limited to, Fair Work Commission, unions, and other key industry bodies.
- Proactively support and develop leader capability around industrial relations and the practicalities of how this impacts operational aspects.

**What you may bring to this role**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Relations specialist of 5 years or more or relevant experience in law.
- Proven experience managing end to end complex industrial relations matters including bargaining and representing at Fair Work
- Deeply familiar with, and update on, current labour laws, regulations, and best practice Industrial Relations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- EACH is a child safe organisation as a result all staff are required to hold valid employee working with children check (or equivalent) at commencement of employment and will also be required to complete a criminal history check prior to commencement.
