About the Role

connectnow, an AGL company, is an award-winning, leading Australian moving-home business. If you’re moving home - connectnow helps you find suppliers in your area and arrange services all at once. As the State Sales Manager in NSW, you will work autonomously and be accountable for the retention and growth of the region, leveraging key partnerships and supporting the connectnow Strategic Roadmap.

Being a dynamic sales leader, and a key player in the wider leadership team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with real estate agents and industry influencers to deliver high quality, qualified leads from the channel to the connectnow call centre, whilst also managing a team of highly motivated Business Development Managers.

Working closely with the National Sales Manager, this role will be the senior sales contact for our major corporate partners within the NSW Northern Beaches, Central Coast and New Castle region, and be accountable for managing key messages and activities from connectnow.

What you’ll be doing:
Manage Sales Performance- Support the National Sales Manager and assist with the implementation as well as measuring the effectiveness of a best in class sales methodology.- Lead the development of sales reporting tools for internal performance tracking and client facing reporting along with driving the evolution and success of Salesforce.- Ensure quality and saleable leads support ongoing revenue growth for the business with focus on MPR deliverables.- Contribute to an active Sales Leadership Team on growth and success.- Work closely with the other real estate sales leaders to ensure the Operations group is well briefed regarding system and process improvements that will drive improved reporting, client service and results.- Hold the team accountable for maintaining up to date partner intelligence and key data insights through the tools available.

People leadership- Foster a best practice, high performance culture within the team.- Provide a superior level of leadership and direction to staff and resources across Connectnow, within budget/plan, as evidenced by staff engagement and adherence/attendance, productivity, alignment and sustainability of outputs, talent retention and development and personally demonstrated behaviors and communications.- Provide in-field support and coaching, motivating the team to execute with excellence the sales methodology for Connectnow and grow their respective states in line with targets.

Partner Engagement & Cultivation- Ensure regular contact and account management is executed with corporate partners and franchises to cultivate strong and results driven partnerships.- Identify and business case commercial opportunities to enhance partner engagement.- Attend partner events to help establish long term relations.- Develop key relationships with all national franchise groups, independent real estate groups and industry bodies.- Ensure every contact / task is captured and actioned within Salesforce.

Results driven- Grow the number of real estate offices through the deployment of a field a based sales executive team actively referring to Connectnow under partnership forms or loyalty agreements.- Focus on influencing the moving market across all elements to ensure Connectnow is positioned as the market leader across Business Performance, Customer Experience as well as Staff Engagement.- Retain and increase performance to existing partners delivering growth to the business.- Achieve agreed total confirmed referrals per targets.- Identify and develop solutions to address underperforming referring partners.
