**So you're ready for something new?**

As a Principal Databricks Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to help them unlock value from their data using the Databricks platform.

With our diverse range of clients and projects, no day will look the same - but here's a snapshot of what's in store:

- Manage consulting engagements that combine use case identification and qualification, architectural vision and hands-on technical execution using the Databricks platform
- Be an evangelist for all things data and Databricks
- Develop solution offerings and repeatable frameworks that enable innovation and efficiency for our clients
- Represent the business within the Australian data engineering community to showcase our work and build awareness of our capability
- Develop new Databricks consulting & solution offerings that address unmet needs in the market
- Shape ideas into projects developing the business case, technology solution and pitching client stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales initiatives, such as project estimation, creation of SOWs and RFP responses
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients as a source of informed, reliable, professional advice about solution options
- Mentor and coach our team members and clients
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to our broader data team

**We want to hear from you if you have the following**:

- Proficiency in steering large scale data projects in complex enterprise environments
- Background in a reputable consulting organisation, with a focus on the technology and data domains
- Strong expertise in solution architecture, data engineering and development, particularly with Databricks and Spark
- Experience in designing and presenting complex architectures to stakeholders
- Prior involvement in pre-sales activities, including responses to RFP/RFTs
- Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring and coaching individuals across different skill levels
- A keen interest in continuous learning, including upskilling in modern technologies and obtaining new certifications
- Self-motivated and hands-on approach, adept at navigating ambiguity to find solutions
- A genuine passion for and connection to the data community
