**The Role**

**Music and Performing Arts Teacher**
**Term 2 commencement**
**Part-time 0.8 position (On-going)**
- Selection criteria: _
- Knowledge of the Kodaly pedagogical method would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Orff-Schulwerk pedagogical method would be advantageous
- Empathy and compassion when dealing with children and families
- Commitment to continuous improvement, best practice teaching & learning, and innovation
- Ability to deliver a standard of excellence in the classroom

**Relevant qualifications and experience**:

- Hold a bachelor's degree in education or equivalent qualification(s)
- Hold VIT registration or be eligible
- Full working rights for Australia
