Highly regarded, dynamic infrastructure organisation is seeking a passionate Customer Communications Specialist to join their collaborative Marketing team to work across a broad range of initiatives designed to raise awareness, improve customer engagement, and drive the company strategy to make it easier for our customers to do business with us.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, as champion for the customer, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for delivering marketing and transactional customer communications within a growing and dynamic organisation.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Content creation and copywriting - synthesise communications briefs and content/copywriting requirements from a wide range of stakeholders from across the business
- Develop engaging and on-brand, on-tone, content to drive customer action toward business and communication objectives and adapt content across a range of channels
- Work with creative agencies and designers to create materials and assets
- Work with the Marketing Communications Manager to deliver a range of marketing and customer communications including:
- Communications to support projects and initiatives, including customer change communications
- Customer communication journeys and lifecycles, including mapping of communications touch points, optimising in
- journey communications, and understanding customers impacts, pain points and moments of truth
- Proactive customer communications to drive engagement, and business objectives
- Champion the brand identity across all developed materials
- Effectively coordinate the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials in partnership with designers
**You will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, journalism, communications or relevant
- 4 to 5 years’ experience in communications at an agency or internal department, preferably within a Marketing or Customer Communications team
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading experience, with a sound understanding of the marketing and communications function for an organisation that spans corporate and consumer audiences
- adapting content and driving customer engagement across a range of channels and different lifecycles journeys
- Digital and social media experience
- Proven experience utilising marketing automation platform, Salesforce (or Marketo)
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management skills, you are driven by data insights and complex problem solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Results driven, proactive a can do attitude
