Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to join our Melbourne Team. You will provide leadership and direction to the portfolio management teams in order to drive a high-performing, highly engaged work environment that delivers strong returns for the Group while embodying the key Mirvac values.

Please note this is a 6 Month Fixed Term Full Time Contract

**Your duties include but are not limited to**:
Drive, lead and deliver sustainable and profitable performance of the asset(s) within your portfolio
Lead a high performing portfolio team, ensuring a strong level of engagement, retention and cross business collaboration
Oversee the preparation and presentation of Strategic Asset Plans for your portfolio, driving your team to successfully execute all items in line with agreed timeframes
Drive strong engagement with key stakeholders (internal and external) whilst cultivating a customer centric culture
Optimise the profitability of your asset portfolio through the identification of business initiatives and efficiencies, and assist the national team with subsequent implementation
Work closely with internal stakeholders on the potential redevelopment, acquisition or disposal of assets within your portfolio
Manage key lease negotiations with required customers within your portfolio
Assist in strategic marketing to investors, institutions and research analysts to maintain a positive market sentiment and high awareness of the performance of the portfolio.
Manage the internal and external valuation process in consultation with the Funds team
Obtain and review market information and relevant research, including identifying and responding to trends in the markets
Provide leadership to the portfolio management team to develop their strengths, skills and knowledge
To support the development and delivery of projects in a way that creates a safe, sustainable and innovative culture that drives a competitive advantage for Mirvac

Your point of difference

To be successful you will have significant experience in the property industry with preference for Development and Asset Management and tertiary qualifications in Property Management, Accounting or Finance.

Prior experience in operating a business P&L with comprehensive and extensive knowledge of the office sector and retail property experience is highly regarded.

Project management and risk management expertise and experience in negotiating agreements for lease and complex commercial lease structures is desirable.

Finally, you will have an ability to set and drive customer centric strategy for a portfolio of assets, strength in analytical and report writing skills and strong time and resource management skills.
