**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for cleaning materials and equipment.
Identify, develop and implement data-driven optimisation strategies and initiatives to increasing levels of efficiency and effectiveness whilst meeting defined strategic and business targets.
Examine operating costs and identify time saving and cost saving opportunities through process optimisation/automation and supply chain management
Analyse and optimise procurement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Translate strategies into programs or projects that enable achievement of outcomes required.
Lead successful change through use of appropriate change management tools and concepts.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay updated on the latest cleaning industry products and technologies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between procurement and operational needs.
**Modern Slavery adherence**: Onboarding Questionnaire, Risk Assessments/Due Diligence Activities etcincluding supporting in the development/submission of GJK’s Modern Slavery Statement.
Social Procurement.
Partner with Suppliers on our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) journey, ensuring ethical supply chain practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Business Optimisation Manager or in a similar role within the cleaning industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and industry regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership and team management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
