**About the role**:
The role of Administration officer is located in PCET (Police Constables Extended Training) Program. PCET Program is part of the Foundation Training Division within People Development Command, and is responsible for the co-ordination, management, and oversight of Probationary Constable training post-graduation. This includes assessing the suitability of Probationary Constables for the Office of Constable including Confirmation of Appointment and management of underperformance, oversight of Dedicated Training Workplace (DTW) sites and DTW Program, deployment of Probationary Constables during residential field placements and post-graduation and the Taking Charge Course.
PCET Program work closely with Human Resources Command, Physical Training and Driver Training Unit, Foundation Conduct Unit, field placement sites (specialist location and police stations) Performance and Development Unit and Professional Standards Command. PCET Program report to the Program Manager Inspector and Superintendent, Foundation Training Division. A large portion of PCET Program duties and priorities are governed by legislation and Victoria Police policy, so many processes and tasks have mandated processing timeframes making for a dynamic, fast paced work environment.
The Administration Officer will provide a broad range of administration support services to the unit, specifically for the Taking Charge Course and Prior Police Service (PPS) program. This role will involve a high level of customer service to a range of stakeholders, including constables, local unit managers, station management and public service employees.

**Your duties will include**:

- Receiving, recording, and distributing mail and correspondence.
- Liaise with and provide advice to members of the People Development Command, internal and external stakeholders with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service delivery.
- Assist with the printing of course materials for students.
- Develop and maintain several computerised internal office database systems for course management.
- Assist with the scheduling of meeting for assessments of course attendees and follow up with the internal and external contacts for training days and assessment results.

- This position is located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley.
