**Job Description**:
AECOM have an exciting opportunity for a Principal-level Security Consultant to join our Sydney team. The role is ideal for professionals with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for the next step in their career and have an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting Security projects.

We are currently looking for a proven Principal Consultant to work closely with our clients, contractors and internal stakeholders across diverse challenges in a range of sectors including Health, Defence, Infrastructure (Road and Rail), Aviation and Commercial Buildings project sectors.

The Role

As a Principal in our Technology Advisory team, you will have expert technical knowledge in developing detailed design solutions with proven experience in the delivery of a range of exciting Security projects.

In this role you can expect to;
+ Support the regional and national Technology Advisory consulting team on a diverse range of projects;
+ Manage project stakeholder engagement and project Brief confirmation and sign off;
+ Lead on business development opportunities and tenders

+ Lead and mentor junior members of the team;
+ Drive quality assurance and positive business culture;
+ Inform business growth initiatives and strategic pursuits;
+ Undertake design related activities across a range of systems including: Security systems including CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarm, PSIM and intrusion protection systems.

+ Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and partner with internal and external clients

+ Participate in site investigations and utilise strong report writing and verbal communication skills.

**Minimum Requirements**:
To be successful in the role, your attention to detail & ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively will help you to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver the right solution, on time, every time.

You will contribute to the growth and development of the team by identifying new business opportunities and responding to tender briefs, as well as ideally having some or all of the following;
+ Demonstrated experience in a lead Security capacity for large scale multi-disciplinary projects;
+ Knowledge of Security policies and procedures such as the Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), ASIO Technical Notes, and ISO27000

**+ Appropriate industry certifications**: SCEC Security Zone Consultant, NSW Security Consultant/Advisor License;
+ Holds Australian Citizenship;
+ Current NV1 level security clearance;
+ A proven ability to autonomously coordinate and liaise effectively with clients and contractors, and experience of construction phase assistance and inspections;
+ Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills;
+ A proven consultative approach, with an ability to work with technical engineers
