This global organisation is a leading provider of cyber security solutions and services. With over 20 years of cyber security intelligence, research and general experience, they provide a suite of cyber products and services that are leading edge. 

They are looking for a Principal Consultant to be a major part of their technical leadership in the ANZ region and to assist the regional sales team with their client interaction. This role will be responsible for representing the organistions strategy and vision, and will make sure these align with the specific needs of partners and customers across the ANZ region.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Act as a senior advisor to customers and partners, helping them to better understand and implement complex cyber solutions tailored to their specific business need.
  • Provide strategic technology leadership by having a keen interest in the market and broader technology matters, and through close consultation with customers and partners, to understand and articulate how we can hrlp them to operationalise their security programs.
  • Develop partner networks and technical alliances across the region.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise in the sales process, including solution presentations and general technical consultation.
  • Work closely with the product development teams to create innovative cybersecurity solutions to meet needs of the ANZ region.
  • Analyse emerging technology trends, cyber threats, and the regional  competitive landscape across ANZ. 
  • General technical and strategic leadership and engagement in region across internal teams, with partners and with customers 

Skills & experience required to be considered for this role include:

  • A strong understanding of the cybersecurity market in the ANZ region.
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalise security solutions. You should be able to translate complex technical challenges into solutions clients can understand.
  • Demonstrated ability in technology leadership and strategic planning.
  • The ability to engage effectively with any audience, regardless of seniority or be they highly technical or non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience as a cyber security practitioner &/or professional services consultant who has proven experience of assisting with customer engagement, product development and ultimately selling solutions.
