**Role Details**:
You will be required to carry out Cellar Operations and ensure quality wine production under the supervision of the Winemaker / Manager.
**Your Key Accountabilities**:
- Follow direction as provided by Winemaker/Manager, Winemakers and Cellar Supervisors
- Carry out cellar operations tasks as assigned:
- Vintage operations including crushing, pressing, juice additions and fermentation
- Cellar operations including wine transfers, blending, filtration and clarifying
- Record data on log sheets or cellar notes
- Assist and maintain general winery cleanliness and hygiene
- Ensure that cellar operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner adhering to company policies and procedures
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
- Participate in training as required
**Other Accountabilities Include**:
- Comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures
**Your Knowledge and Skills**:
- A passion for wine
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm, reliability and energy
- Ability to work independently and as a member of team
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- A mature approach to work
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Winery operations experience (minimum two years)
**Physical and Other Requirements**:
- Driver's licence
- High Risk Work licence for Forklift Truck (highly desirable)
- Confined space entry accreditation (desirable)
- Chemical handling accreditation (desirable)
- Cert II or Cert III in Wine Industry Operations - Cellar or equivalent
