**Your new role**:
Are you an experienced project manager who enjoys developing new processes and systems? Do you have a passion for supporting access to services for children and families? If so, we invite you to be part of our team as the Systems and Innovations Project Officer

In this project based role you will take the lead to transform and refine our current early years systems to meet our future requirements, as we transition from direct service provision to municipal wide early years support.

Working closely with the Early Years Strategic Projects Lead, you will lead projects within the Family & Children’s Services Team including central registration and enrolment for kindergartens, process mapping and review of current processes and procedures and transition activities.

Your contributions will directly support the children and families in Knox to access quality early years services.

This is a Band 6 classified role; remuneration will be $92,933 - $101,496 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will need to thrive**:
The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and with influence, including the ability to understand and adapt to the audience to gain support and commitment by others;
- Well-developed skills in writing with impact, accuracy and clarity for various audiences, including formal reports, submissions and presentations;
- A good understanding of Project Management methodologies, as you will need to lead projects within the team;
- The ability to understand the various and varying needs of stakeholders and be able to represent the FCS team in a range of projects both within FCS and Council;
- Well-developed skills in writing with impact, accuracy and clarity for various audiences, including formal reports, submissions and presentations;
- Demonstrated experience in researching system enhancements and solutions.
