**Front Desk/Student Support Officer**
**About us**
Brighton College is an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Brighton College specialises in Business, Information Technology, Hospitality Management and Community Services training and maintains close professional links to industry to ensure our training is at the leading edge of industry developments.
We are Looking for Front Desk/Student Support Officer for our Melbourne Campus.
**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited**
- Being the first point of contact for students, visitors and callers both as they enter or call the campus.
- Liaise with students to ensure their ongoing needs are met especially in relation to accessing support services where this impacts their ability to meet their attendance and course progress requirements.
- Presenting a professional image of the College at the front desk and providing exceptional customer service to all.
- Assisting students with requests/general enquiries
- Undertaking day to day administrative tasks
- Perform a range of administrative support tasks including desktop-based programmes, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets and Student Management system, and maintain the integrity of the filing system.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, focusing on support and service
- Experience in a CRICOS registered RTO ( Preferred )
- Friendly and welcoming personality with excellent presentation
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with empathy with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- A positive attitude, willingness to be adaptable to a rapidly changing environment, willingness to learn and being a strong collaborator.
- An ability to work autonomously and within a small department team
- Full working rights in Australia
- Knowledge of Student Management System ( Preferred )
- Fluency in a second language is not essential but highly regarded
