About the role

As a Performance Improvement Specialist, you will support the operation teams to drive an integrated approach to continuous improvement via embedding of MMS at department level. You will work closely with these teams to improve site performance by facilitating improvement in performance, standards and capability through the MMS change journey and delivering breakthrough performance improvements.

**Responsibilities**:
- Running DMAIC and PDCA projects.- Design, develop and implement new reports / dashboard. Provide Daily, Weekly, Monthly analysis and reporting on time. Regular daily, weekly and monthly system data cleansing to eliminate errors and ensure accuracy in data reporting- Invest time effectively in supporting Improve the business by doing problem solving exercise, e.g. 5 why/RCPS. Also lead, contribute and support Focused Improvement Projects- Support delivery of outstanding performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale).- Facilitate and coach MMS improvement projects and problem solving techniques-
- Role model good governance around internal and external compliance (health & safety, quality and environment)

So, what about you?- Six Sigma yellow belt certification is a must. Green belt certification will be ideal.- Experience in a process environment with a proven track record in managing people and or small teams, projects and cross functional team working is desired- Knowledge of manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, lean six-sigma, reliability centred maintenance.- Knowledge of planning processes and optimising demand cycles.- Working knowledge of SAP is beneficial- Experience of coaching and influencing a range of partners for success is aught after- If you have intermediate project management skills that would be a great asset- Ability to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify waste and cost saving opportunities, e.g., Harford, SAP- You’ll have a proven track record of great engagement and communication skills- Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packages
