This is an opportunity for a professional with research, evaluation and analytics experience to join our team. We are looking for a good communicator, strategic thinker, with an interest in professional development to support the design and implementation of Centre for Population Health policies and programs with a focus on the Healthy Eating and Active Living portfolio.

**Where you’ll be working**
The Centre for Population Health (CPH) aims to promote health and to prevent morbidity and mortality caused by modifiable risk factors. The CPH portfolio encompasses: hepatitis B and C; sexually transmissible infections including HIV; tobacco and vaping; and overweight and obesity. The strategies used to address these issues include state-wide policy and planning, legislation.

The Population Health Policy and Engagement Branch provides statewide leadership to promote healthy eating and active living to reduce overweight and obesity and chronic disease. The Data and Evaluation Team lead the research and evaluation agenda to support healthy eating and active living strategic priorities and report on population health indicators.

**What you'll be doing**

The position coordinates, undertakes and supports:

- research, monitoring and evaluation projects and relationships.
- the translation and dissemination of data and evidence.
- the provision of high level advice, including associated limitations and appropriate use of data, in relation to NSW Health’s approach to population health policies and programs.

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- Skills and experience in supporting data provision, interpretation, and communication
- Experience in coordinating or contributing to population health research and/or evaluation in a practical setting
