THE ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT is a much-loved Australian supplier of specialty food ingredients, & professional cookware, carefully curated & sourced from growers & producers in Australia & around the world.

Our loyal customers include many of the very best restaurants, food retail, hotels, distributors, manufacturers & passionate home cooks. Our products are distributed via the wholesale channel, online store & through 6 retail stores, including our recently opened

Sydney flagship store.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the Director and working within a small, passionate and versatile team, you will lead and implement our social media and marketing strategy to optimise customer engagement and sales growth.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Including but not be limited to:

- Managing the business’ digital footprint to drive customers in-store and online.
- Leading the omni-channel strategy and activation plan.
- Maximizing e-commerce user experience, conversion rate & sales performance.
- Lead and implement the brand’s social media strategy.
- Analytics, reporting & recommendations.
- Influencing across the Group to ensure stakeholders are committed to the agreed digital activities.
- Managing multiple agencies & 3rd-party providers to ensure optimal output to budget.
- Being across advancements in the digital space and competitive landscape

**ABOUT YOU**
- Social media, digital marketing & e-commerce omni-channel experience including optimization of multiple channels with ability to clearly demonstrate success in deliverables related to raising brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion, and sales growth.
- Passionate about and knowledgeable of the social and digital landscape and its opportunities.
- Great understanding and experience working with Shopify, Klayvio, all social platforms & Google suite (CSS & Html desirable).
- Proficient in marketplace paid search, organic optimization, and conversion campaigns.
- Ability to conduct effective data analysis to identify issues and recommend better processes to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.
- Organized & detail-oriented with the ability to work in an agile way to meet critical deadlines.
- Experience in working within a collaborative team is vital.
- Project management skills & experience in managing 3rd party providers to achieve agreed project outcomes.
- Energetic & driven with an ability to motivate others
- Mad about food/cooking and/or experience in a food environment will be highly valued.
