The team is responsible for the management of approx. $600M in annual spend, across a highly diverse range of spend categories.

**What’s the role?**

Working within a dynamic and collaborative team of procurement professionals, you will take a lead role in the delivery of procurement and contract management activities for the Production function. You will:

- Be involved in a wide range of procurement activities across the procurement lifecycle from strategy development, tendering, contract implementation and supplier management
- Partner with the business to unlock value for your stakeholders through the full life of the sourcing and contract activities
- Lead the procurement for one or more business functions, including developing category/function strategies and acting as the primary contact for the business unit
- Develop and lead sourcing contracts for low to high value/risk activities
- Prepare high quality fit for purpose procurement documentation, including procurement plans, tender packs and schedules
- Lead negotiation of tenders and contracts to deliver strong commercial outcomes
- Identify risks and develop highly effective mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present award recommendations to senior management
- Provide expert advice and guidance to business stakeholders in contract management matters

The types of contracts that sit within the Production function include:

- Printing services, production consumables (e.g. ink, paper, plates, blankets, plastic film), temporary labour and production equipment.

- High performing procurement manager looking for the next step up in your career
- You have a data driven approach, with an operational mindset
- 5-7+ years strategic sourcing or category management experience
- You are positive, proactive and collaborative and bring an ethical procurement approach and an ability to challenge the status quo
- Highly developed commercial acumen
- Well developed competencies in procurement and contract management, with exceptional written and verbal skills
- Highly confident working with contracts - review, drafting and advice with support from senior procurement management and Legal
- Highly confident in dealing with and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Resilient, flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
- Confident in your ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience in managing disputes and claims (highly desirable)

- Procurement professionals with experience working in highly complex large organisations and have transferable skills
- Lawyers with 5+ years broad contracts or commercial experience looking to make the move into procurement
