**Role Details**:
The Performance & Project Officer is a role within Early Intervention Research Directorate (EIRD) and is accountable to the Team Leader Performance & Partnerships for:

- Providing best practice contract management utilising a relational approach and guided by the EIRD Performance Partnerships Framework.
- Contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the Early Intervention Research Directorate through the provision of procurement and contract monitoring and management functions.
- The provision of effective monitoring of services.
- The equitable and pragmatic resolution of disputes and other contractual/service delivery agreement issues in accordance with standards, policies and relevant legislation.

Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Providing effective and efficient procurement and contract management functions aligned with the EIRD Performance Partnerships Framework.
2. Evaluate the implementation of policies and program, including undertaking appropriate data and outcomes analysis to meet performance objectives. 3. Monitor the accountability and reporting requirements of service providers (internal and external) and identify issues that impact upon their achievement/relevance.
4. Proactively identify, develop, and implement processes and systems that result in improved efficiency for the monitoring and review of services.
5. Assist in the development of key performance indicators that can be effectively monitored to develop appropriate reports for Executive and the Minister regarding outcomes for clients.
6. Coordinate and provide advice and input into the development of tender specifications in consultation with key stakeholders.

Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.

Role Status: Term up to 06/12/2024.

Desirable: Tertiary qualification in human services, social work or other relevant areas or equivalent expertise gained from training or professional accreditation.
