**The Opportunity**:

- The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Executive Level 1 Assistant Director, ERP Application Services within Finance Branch.
- To succeed in this role you will have experience in SAP Project Management role, have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic to learn and work successfully in a small team environment. Knowledge in SuccessFactors and Kronos Workforce Central would be highly regarded.

**Who we are looking for**:

Able to undertake work of a complex and or sensitive nature and perform a leadership role while managing the ERP delivery. Your strengths will be your high level organisational skills, effective communication and customer service skills.

**Job Specific Requirements**:

**Mandatory**:

- Demonstrated, relevant project management experience.

**Desirable**:

- Tertiary and/or Project management qualifications.
- Experience working in federal government agencies is highly regarded.
- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.

**Immediate supervisor: Director, Financial Systems**
- Under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Executive Level 1 classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- 1. Drive, manage and deliver ERP Application Services projects in accordance with departmental standards which are based upon Agile project delivery methodology including project reporting, facilitation and co-ordination of scheduling activities and documentation.
- 2. Proactively engage with technical and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes and the smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.
- 3. Undertake objective, systematic analysis and draws accurate conclusions based on evidence, including documenting the outcomes of project discussions.
- 4. Manage the development of requirement specifications, business cases, functional specifications, and process models.
- 5. Manage ERP Application Services procurement activities in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- 6. Manage the contracts within the ERP Application Services section in accordance with DPS policy.
- 7. Contribute to the effective operation of the section including reporting, planning, continuous improvement, staff recruitment, and staff development.
- Employees of DPS are required to be able, and to be seen to be able, to provide professional advice and services to all Senators and Members without favour or prejudice._
