**The Opportunity**

Learning & Development Officer will partner with staff and managers to develop innovative and creative programs, policies and offerings to support Council’s workforce development and growth; this will contribute to Council’s Employee Value Proposition.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the corporate development function within the organisation including scheduling workshops, preparing training resources and managing attendance as well and administering pre and post training activities.
- Support the design and delivery of People and Culture internal training, awareness and development sessions and programs
- Maintain the Induction Framework within Council including the facilitation of Corporate Induction sessions.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- A tertiary qualification in human resources, organisational development or related field and experience in delivery of learning and development in a multi-faceted organisation.
- Experience contributing as a member of a high functioning team, and as a partner and enabler of organisational development.
- A passion for lifelong learning, supporting individuals in their professional and personal development and wellbeing.
