**The Opportunity**

Due to an exciting phase of expansion and transformation, we have a number of Claims Consultant opportunities available to join our growing team in Sydney.

**As a Claims Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of claims and support this process for individuals who have experienced a workplace injury, as well as working with a variety of stakeholders towards recovery goals. Additionally, you will**:

- Deliver claims management services to injured workers, setting recovery goals and providing support in reaching these;
- Review and determine requests for medical treatment and provide ongoing monitoring of their effectiveness to recovery and return to work plans;
- Monitor progress on agreed actions and proactively engage all parties involved on a claim to ensure accountability as required;
- Provide effective and efficient claims administration to ensure that injured workers receive fair and accurate compensation in accordance with relevant legislation and GB service requirements;
- In liaison with internal stakeholders after the claim has been accepted, act as the key decision maker for all claims allocated;
- Facilitate and monitor medical and like cost management strategies on claims, ensuring cost effectiveness for the purpose of sustainability of the scheme;
- Review ongoing entitlements in line with the relevant legislation;
- Participate in claims reviews and other stakeholder communications.
