**About the role**:
The ICT Product Specialist you have crucial role to manage both cloud and on-premises Infrastructure platforms across the organisation.
- You will be the escalation point for Infrastructure services.
- You will provide advice and recommendations on all technical aspects of the service.
- Manage escalated issues relating to access to on-premises and cloud services through to resolution.
- Proactively perform maintenance activities while deploying and documenting technical solutions.
- Demonstrate ability to leverage best practices.
- You will also maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

**Your duties will include**:
The ICT Cloud Specialist role is responsible for managing and maintaining key components of the Victoria Police cloud and on-premises Infrastructure platforms.
- The cloud, physical and virtual compute and storage infrastructure supporting the provision of technology services to the Victoria Police.
- Delivery and support of the Victoria Police cloud services migration.
- Supporting and maintaining the delivery of critical services such as Azure/On-premises Active Directory, Backup & Recovery, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), PKI and Group Policy.
- Administering and supporting the Azure based services including SSO/ADFS, and ensuring delivery, capacity and security meet organisational requirements.
- Managing customer stakeholder relationships.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Demonstrated Windows Server experience in a 24x7 support environment.
- Demonstrated cloud experience, with Azure.
- Demonstrated experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
- Strong understanding enterprise storage and backup needs.
- A working knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Microsoft's implementation of TCP/IP, and Domain Name System (DNS).
- An ability to effectively prioritise tasks and successfully problem solve and trouble-shoot issues.
- Demonstrated strong commitment and adherence to process and change control practices.
- Strong customer service with the demonstrated ability to build and maintain key working relationships across organisation and ensuring a high level of service to customers.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
