**Your duties will include**:
- Develop and drive the integration platform product strategy and roadmap for Victoria Police.
- Provision of authoritative advice supporting the management of product strategy, resolution of escalated issues and mitigation of risks, for the platform and services.
- Lead cross functional teams in a multi-vendor environment, managing the Integration platform with accountability of delivery and quality for ongoing delivery of software.
- Lead the technical implementation of API solutions for a technology platform defining approaches, frameworks, libraries and cloud technologies.
- Collaborates in driving and defining the integration technology platform roadmap with consideration of API guidelines and Principles and enable upcoming business capability.
- Contribute to thought leadership, and demonstrate technical expertise in modern disruptive technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance, and architecture.
- Understand Operational capabilities and ensure the team meets all agreed operational KPIs such as incident, Change, Service Management and ensure processes are followed and improved.
- Supporting backlog management and prioritisation for ICT product enhancements, developments, and defect resolution.
- Advocacy and liaison with internal and external stakeholders and consumers of the Integration Platforms and Services.
**As the successful applicant, you will have**:
- Ability to independently lead working sessions with cross-functional teams to understand and analyse the impact of requirements and changes to data structures.
- Demonstrated experience working in complex environments.
- Proven experience designing, developing and testing enterprise integration services.
- Strong experience managing Integration platforms, experience with TIBCO / Mulesoft would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience developing interface specifications and interface control documentation.
- Responsibilities for integration service design and implementation specification development.
- Demonstrated experience working with integration architectures including, Micro Services Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Integration Platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience of development within Agile methodologies.
- Experience building robust RESTful APIs and SOAP-based Web Services.
**About you**:
- Self-motivated, highly visible and an engaging point of contact, who enjoys working with people
- Experience in group policy management with Security and governance principles
- The ability to embrace change, be adaptable and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including technical documentation skills
- SAFe and ITIL certifications are highly regarded
**Requirements and relevant information**:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
