Medical Receptionist | Permanent full time | Inner Melbourne Suburb | $65,000 + Super + Bonus

Join a well-established neurosurgical practice based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, working part of a team supporting the day-to-day functions and prioritising outstanding patient care.

**Your new role**

As part of your new role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of a busy medical practice. Your role will include but are not exclusive to the follow responsibilities:

- Managing phone calls and messages
- Booking and confirming appointments for the clinic and surgery
- Organising the triaging of referrals from the surgeon
- Greeting patients and managing new patient registrations
- Phone calls to other doctors and practices to facilitate patient care
- Assist in creating and managing operating theatre lists and liaising with hospitals and other medical practitioners
- Administrative work related to medico-legal documentations
- Other tasks required for day-to-day management of the practice with the ability to multitask essential

**What you'll need to succeed**

Are you organised and have a passion for providing patient care? To be successful in this role you will need to be:

- Experience using medical software and/or CRM database management.
- Strong IT skills and experience with Mac operating system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, good time management skills and ability to thrive in a busy environment and foster a harmonious patient centred workplace.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to think laterally and work proactively.
