Working in beautifully appointed rooms, our highly regarded client is seeking an experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist to join their dynamic administration team. Offering full-time employment, but also happy to consider 4 days per week.

**Days and Hours of work**: Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5 pm.

**Duties will include**:

- Answer the telephone promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
- Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Bill and receipt of patient accounts
- Undertake Banking procedures.
- Operate all aspects of the EFTPOS machine.
- Scan documents
- Prepare documents for mail-out & electronic distribution.
- Open, stamp appropriately, and distribute incoming mail.
- Enter data as required with a high level of accuracy.
- General housekeeping of the practice / Sterilising instruments when required.
- Assisting the Executive Assistant when required
- Use of Genie medical software
- Excellent interpersonal /communication skills
- 5 years of Medical Reception experience
- Excellent/corporate presentation.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Use of Genie medical software is preferable.
- Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
