**Some of your responsibilities will include**: - Managing and leading a service delivery team culture, building capability in relation to sourcing, contract management, strategy and performance. Contributing to driving cultural change within CDG supporting contemporary procurement services, innovative delivery methodologies and service delivery enhancement. Working with CSU Directors and whole of government procurement transformation to drive the government procurement agenda. Providing procurement services to CDG ensuring alignment with the whole of government procurement approach. Services and its clients by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, markets and vendor conditions and exploiting any emerging opportunities to achieve improved procurement and contract management outcomes for its clients. Embed whole of government procurement capability frameworks to build a highly performing procurement team and culture. Undertake whole of government and/or agency procurement performance monitoring and reporting.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- Whilst not mandatory, a diploma of Procurement and Contracting (or equivalent) or higher would be highly regarded. Knowledge of Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) framework would also be highly regarded.
Requirements of the role
- Demonstrate your experience in procurement and contract management, governance, monitoring and reporting. Qualifications in Procurement and Contract management will be highly regarded. You will have demonstrated organisational skills and business acumen. You will have demonstrated experience in managing complex teams in dynamic environments. Understand and promote the role of CDG within government and society including whole-of-government agenda. You will implement the strategic direction for Operational Procurement Services and demonstrate how elements of the strategy fit together and contribute to higher-level goals. Review procurement performance and focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will identify key talent to support performance. You are flexible and responsive to change in requirements. Demonstrate personal drive, focus and energy to achieve key outcomes for the organisation and encourage these behaviours in others. You will adhere to and promote the TMR values and Code of Conduct and represent the organisation with integrity and professionalism. Present messages in a clear and precise manner and select the most appropriate medium for conveying information. You approach negotiations with a strong grasp of the key issues, having prepared in advance. You understand the desired objectives and associated strengths and weaknesses. You anticipate the position of the other party and frame your arguments accordingly. Build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally finding opportunities to share information with others and foster collaborative behaviour. Facilitate team development. You deliver constructive feedback in a manner that gains acceptance and achieves resolution.
