The Wesfarmers Health includes 73 company-owned Priceline stores, 396 Priceline pharmacy franchise stores and 89 Clear Skincare clinics and is also a wholesale distributor of pharmaceutical goods.

In 2023, the Health division expanded its digital and medical aesthetics offering with the acquisitions of telehealth provider InstantScripts, as well as the SILK Group, who operates a network of around 140 wholly-owned, joint venture and franchised clinics.

The division employs more than 3600 team members.

**About the role: Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (API) is one of Australia's leading pharmaceutical distributors and growing health and beauty retailers. As a Wesfarmers business, API is the parent company of Priceline Pharmacy, Soul Pattinson Chemist, Pharmacist Advice and Clear Skincare Clinics. Our services include wholesale product delivery, retail services, marketing programs and business advisory services.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Pharmacy Business Development Marketing team.

Reporting to the Project Manager - Loyalty & Pharmacy Services, you will support the achievement of API's Vision and to help us in our strategic goal to be the most compelling offer for our pharmacy partners.

This is achieved through supporting the Project Manager - Loyalty and Pharmacy Services to deliver the brand propositions for Soul Pattinson Chemist and Pharmacist Advice, and the program offering for Club Premium, a tailored program to support independent pharmacies.


This role would suit a recent Marketing, Business or Communications Graduate, or someone early in their career with some work experience, looking to gain broad exposure to all aspects of marketing.

**What you'll do: - Support the Project Manager to deliver the brand propositions for Soul Pattinson Chemist and Pharmacist Advice, and the program offering for Club Premium.

  • Administration of tasks such as member fees, signage and support rebates and compliance rebates.
  • Prepare and help distribute reports on Category and Product Compliance, Pharmacy Program Performance and Promotional Campaigns.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of communications including weekly Merchandise Updates and bimonthly newsletters.
  • Coordinate the implementation of direct marketing for loyalty rewards campaigns in Soul Pattinson Chemist, Pharmacist Advice and Club Premium pharmacies Support the Pharmacy Business Development team for the organisation of training and other events for our Pharmacies, including member communications, liaising with external vendors and creating event content.
**What you'll bring: - Recent Graduate or some experience in a Marketing, Business or Communications support role.

  • Intermediate PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Genuine interest in marketing, brands, and retail, and putting the customer at the heart of your decision making.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An allrounder who is happy to work on a variety of tasks and interact with our internal and external stakeholders, and Soul Pattinson Chemist, Pharmacist Advice and Club Premium pharmacies.
  • A passion to grow and develop, and ability to proactively seek out development opportunities.
Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications**Why us?
