Talent International is searching for an experienced **Organisational Change Manager** to join our client, a large government department. This role is based in **Brisbane CBD** on a contract basis till **June 2024.**

**About the role**:
As the 'Champion of Change' you will be supporting the client's digital business transformation program, working closely with program delivery teams and key business stakeholders to collect, analyse, and evaluate information, and develop tactical solutions to support business readiness and transition activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Champion and take a lead role in implementing change, working closely with project and development teams, Subject Matter Experts and all key stakeholders, taking into consideration role changes for staff, training and engagement activities and any business activities required to integrate new processes, procedures of products into the 'business as usual' environment
- Act as the Champion of Change between the Program and the Business Units, ensuring that the business units are aware of and ready for the capabilities that the strategy will enable
- As an experienced Agile change practitioner, work extensively with stakeholders to support iterative product releases and continuous improvement models for change and work with project executives and key stakeholders to ensure organisational change readiness and acceptance
- Perform expert change analysis activities (e.g. defining change characteristics, business change impact assessments, business change risk assessments, business practices documentation) using appropriate modelling, analysis techniques, tools and standards.
- Lead workshops, document and manage the outcomes resulting from these workshops.
- Identifying other projects, making linkages and identifying dependencies and developing strategies that will minimise disruption to stakeholders
- Preparing the project sponsor and business owners to own and lead the change
- Preparing the stakeholders for the change and sustaining the change
- Ensuring that the business owners are in the best position to achieve benefits from the program
- Ensuring that future change opportunities are captured and included in the Program's continuous improvement cycle
- Working with the leadership team and communications resources to align direction, communication and engagements
- Provide concise advice to the Executive and Program Board on Change Management approach and progress

**Requirements**:

- Significant demonstrable experience in leading Organisational Change Management for a similar size/complexity ICT project
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to effectively consult and negotiate with stakeholders (internal and external) and build positive relationships
- Ability to undertake objective systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence and identifies the relationships between organisational goals and capabilities
- Ability to contribute own expertise to achieve quality outcomes for the business unit and adheres to documentation procedures
- Discusses issues credibly and thoughtfully and presents persuasive counterarguments, seeks to understand the audience and tailors' communication style and message accordingly.
