**Team and Opportunity**

Reporting to the Platform Oversight team manager and joining a broader team of Client Operations professionals, the Platform Oversight Specialist will be responsible for supporting the team as it performs daily oversight of our third-party providers servicing Vanguards retail clients.

This will be a key role maintaining and monitoring Australian retail investor platform operations and their outsourced vendors, and will participate in the development, implementation, and administration of various Client Operations strategic initiatives, with a direct focus on ensuring a positive client experience.

**What you will do**
- Represents Client Operations in future platform and product enhancements for AUPI, coordinates operational control and governance framework impacts and enhancements, participates in testing.
- Advocates and supports a culture of continuous improvement, coupled with providing the foundational support for effective change management in line with New Ways of Working.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external clients and business partners that include third party vendors.
- Independently identifies and resolves complex operational issues.
- Provide assistance and training support as needed to recognise and develop other crew members.
- Fosters an inclusive team environment driven by open communication, teamwork, and accountability.
- Proactively foster effective communication, providing feedback, action items and enhancing our oversight controls for outsourced vendor relationships.
- Ability to work flexibly and participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

**What we are looking for**
- Demonstrated experience in Investment Operations, Registry and/or Oversight Functions will be highly regarded. Demonstrated ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- A proactive attitude towards building and managing stakeholder engagement.
- A desire to learn, ability to self-direct work and eagerness to contribute to team success.
- Team Player with strong client service focus and good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate other crew members.
- Understanding of fund structures, financial instruments, regulatory environment, and funds industry would be well regarded
- Familiarity with or experience in Business Continuity Management procedures.
- Familiarity with risk management concepts and internal control operations would be highly regarded
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or relevant experience in a similar role.
