**The Position**

The College is seeking suitably qualified and experienced teacher to teach Senior Physics and 7 - 10 Junior Science. The ability to teach Mathematics highly desirable. This is a full-time permanent position commencing January 2023.

All teachers are appointed by the CEO/Executive Principal of MBC and MBBC and are responsible to them through the Principal of MBC for the over-all performance of their duties. The CEO/Executive Principal delegates authority to senior staff members for the effective management of the College. This role will report directly to the Heads of Department - Science

The College offers a very broad programme in sporting, musical and pastoral activities which are designed to enhance the holistic development of the students. Staff are expected to participate in the co-curricular programme of the College. By participating in the College’s co-curricular programme it is recognised that a teacher is contributing to the mission and ethos of the College.

All staff need to be supportive of the values, Christian ethos and Ethical Statement of this Uniting Church day school for girls from PP-12.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum: Education Diploma or Education Degree in relevant curriculum area.
- Should preferably have experience teaching in Queensland schools or an understanding of the Queensland system.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**
- Must be registered with, or able to be registered with, the Queensland College of Teachers.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Each teacher is resourced with a desk, computer, shared preparation room and filing cabinet.

**CONDITIONS AND SALARY**
- This is a full-time, permanent position with salary and conditions as per the _Moreton Bay College Enterprise Agreement._
- The College operates a 10 Day timetable cycle.
