**About The Role**
This position is a full time, fixed term role until February 2024, located within the Education Policy, Research and Evaluation (EPRE) team. The EPRE team is responsible for developing education policies which underpin the College's education programs, coordinating the College's accreditation processes, and monitoring and evaluating key educational areas to ensure that the design of an improvement to the College's educational approaches are evidence based and reflect member feedback.
The purpose of this role is to support the College in research, development, dissemination, implementation and evaluation of education policy and monitors and reports College progress against Australian Medical Council and Medical Council of New Zealand accreditation standards and conditions.
Key responsibilities include:

- Research, consult, write and review policies and policy approval briefs on a range of issues to support the development, implementation and evaluation of education policy
- Work closely with other teams to develop and implement policies according to the Education Policy development process including obtaining endorsement from relevant sectors of the College and communicating ratified policies to a range of stakeholders
- Maintain an education policy development schedule and remain well informed on current, evidence-based literature relevant to education areas
- Provide high level administrative support on education projects including the preparation of submissions, reports, correspondence, presentations and other documents as required
- Work with a range of stakeholders across the College to monitor progress against regulatory standards and accreditation conditions and provide internal reports and briefs on progress
- Compile and review information and supporting evidence for and write, consult and edit the College's reports to the Australian Medical Council and Medical Council of New Zealand
- Coordinate and support reaccreditation visits from the Australian Medical Council and Medical Council of New Zealand

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated experience implementing new policy development and administrative systems
- Well-developed written skills including the ability to prepare complex reports and submissions
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to represent the organisation at a senior level to external bodies
- Proven ability to work independently under broad direction as well as cooperatively within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Initiative and problem solving skills including the ability to be flexible
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
