**About Cbus**
Created by workers, for workers, Cbus Super is one of Australia’s most successful Superannuation funds. For almost four decades we’ve proudly represented those who help shape Australia, hard-working individuals who deserve to make the most of their retirement, no matter the industry. As an award-winning fund we’ve been recognised for the benefits provided to our members and our innovative investment approach. All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.

**About your role**
As a Governance Specialist at Cbus, you will play a pivotal role in providing governance advice and support within the Fund’s governance division. This is a collaborative role that provides a high level of support across the full suite of company secretariat and governance services to the Cbus Board and its Committees.

Your day in this role will be varied, one moment you will be working to ensure the Governance statutory information remains accurate and up to date, the next you’re providing advice on the content and resolutions of Board and Committee papers. Other aspects of the role include:

- Assist in the review of Governance policies to ensure they are meeting regulatory/legislative requirements and Industry best practice standards.

- Assist to ensure the Governance statutory information part of Cbus’ website remains accurate and up to date at all times.

We are looking for a skilled Superannuation Governance or Corporate Governance professional, who has experience working with superannuation or corporations’ legislation and prudential standards. Ideally, you’ll have a relevant tertiary qualification in business, legal or related field, with the completion of Governance specific courses, or commitment to complete. Personally, you have excellent verbal communication skills and highly developed report writing and general written communication skills. You are highly organised and can flex to meet various deliverables. Whilst Cbus encourages flexible working arrangements, due to the nature of Cbus Board and Committee meetings, there will be an expectation of your presence in the office during busier periods.

**Belong at Cbus**
We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles. We believe that, with diversity of perspectives and experiences, you get better teams and outcomes. We’re looking for people of all genders, races, nationalities, orientations and of all abilities to join us.
