Industrial Facilities Management property portfolio in Melbourne's Western suburbs, full time - hybrid
**Your new company**
My client, a global logistics and industrial property specialist company with multiple offices and a significant property portfolio across Australia are undergoing significant growth and are now permanently seeking an experienced and ambitious Facilities Manager - Industrial to oversee their expansive Melbourne Western suburbs portfolio commencing ASAP.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, this critical role will see you;
- Manage all hard services compliance and general maintenance operations including mechanical, HVAC, fire, electrical etc. across owned/leased assets efficiently and effectively across Melbourne’s Western suburbs portfolio of 19 sites
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance with contractors and arranging tenancy access if required
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with tenants and contractors from an operational perspective, demonstrating strong customer service skills while also maintaining my client’s interests
- Manage contractors to ensure compliance with legislation and company operational requirements including induction, compliance, completion of property services and reports and delivery of high-quality work, in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Assisting the Property Manager in managing new assets throughout the defect liability period by meeting with builders, tenants and consultants
- Undertaking and arranging monthly compliance and risk audits with the consultants and the tenants
- Carrying out regular site audits, base building and tenancy inspections
**What you'll need to succeed**
This role will suit an ambitious, self-motivated, and highly efficient Facilities Manager with a strong background in **industrial property management** coupled with;
- Strong understanding of building operations (development and capital works projects)
- Solid experience managing large tenanted sites including critical live environments
- Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service approach coupled with exceptional communication skills and a high level of stakeholder engagement (tenants, contractors etc.)
- Current and valid Victorian driver’s licence and own vehicle
**Please note **this role will require a significant amount of daily driving across the Melbourne portfolio - no interstate travel is required.
