**About the business**:
Allan's Mens Hairdressing has 17 Salons across NSW and have been operating over 40 years in NSW and continuing to grow. We are currently looking for experienced Retail Manager for our Salamander Bay and surrounding Salons (Mt Hutton, Marketown, Lakehaven, Bateau Bay, Warrabrook, Forster). Someone who is motivated, reliable, and looking towards future opportunities to assist us in growing our company.

**About the role**:
**Job Duties but not limited to**:
**1.** **Staff Management**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage employee performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage store budgets and actively seek ways to improve sales and profitability.
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate and lead Salon team
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales

targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training for staff.

**2.** **Sales and Customer Service**:

- Drive sales through effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Develop and implement effective retail strategies to enhance customer engagement

and drive revenue growth.

**3.** **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock discrepancies.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

**4.** **Operational Efficiency**:

- Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Oversee cash handling, financial transactions, and daily sales reports.

**5. Marketing and Promotions**:

- Develop and execute marketing plans to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Coordinate in-store promotions, events, and product launches.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and sales principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours.

**Education**:

- A degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

**Schedule**:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Supplemental pay types**:

**Ability to commute/relocate**:
Salamander Bay, NSW 2317: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
Retail Manager: 3-4 years (preferred)

**Work Location**: In person

**Expected Start Date**: 31/10/2024

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
