**The Opportunity**
Western Port Manufacturing facility is looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician in our Maintenance team based in Western Port, Hastings. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products Portfolio, we have four major manufacturing sites at Western Port which operate 24 x 7 and deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to export and domestic customers.
**What Will You Do?**
Working in a supportive environment, you will contribute to the safety of our people, the quality of our product and the reliability of our equipment. You will achieve this by:
- undertake day-to-day activities - utilising trade skills to; carry out maintenance activities, conduct root cause investigations/ troubleshooting problems, documenting the root cause of issues, and recommending robust solutions.
- monitoring, analyse, reporting, improve processes and documenting work into our Maintenance Management System on the process line equipment condition.
- working within the maintenance team - contribute to planning and continuous improvement initiatives, to assist with plant reliability performance.
This role will require occasional shift work coverage by the department to support the 24x7 operation.

Coming from a strong technical background, you will bring:
- an electrical trade (A-Grade License) or related qualifications
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others

- experience working both independently and as part of a manufacturing team
- attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
