**The Brand |**

A leading designer brand in the Australian landscape with significant growth globally - we are looking to appoint a Product Development Manager with a specialism in knitwear to work across several categories in this senior technical design position.

**The Role |**

The Product Development Manager is responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of Knitwear collections in line with the critical path working collaboratively with the designers - the role will manage the development of significant categories.
- Ensuring all Knitwear collections are developed in accordance with the company expectations for cost and quality, and in line with critical path key dates.
- Managing the on-time execution of each season from sampling through to complete handover to production.
- Continually striving for innovative and beautiful yarns, trims, finishes and techniques.

**The Skillset |**
- A fashion design degree
- 10+ years’ experience as a knitwear designer/developer from a recognized retail brand
- Strong communication skills
- Experience leading a small team and the ability to work collaboratively with both senior team members and leading a junior team.
- Strong demonstrated experience in Product Development
- Strong/Proven project management and organisational skills
- Ability to build effective and influential relationships
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to deliver against deadlines in a fast-paced environment
