**The opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Officer to join our team until 31 December 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Health and Medical Research Council and Beyond Blue funded Centre of Research Excellence in Childhood Adversity and Associated Anxiety and Depression at MCRI.

As the Project Officer for the CRE, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management and organisation of our research projects. This will include organising CRE meetings and events, coordinating internal and external communications such as newsletters, website updates, and dissemination of resources, engaging with stakeholders, maintaining the CRE budget, and providing administrative project support to members of the CRE team. With support and direction from the Chief Investigator, you will support a large and complex program of research, engage with diverse stakeholder groups, and work with investigators across multiple sites in two states.

As a part of your role, you will also assist in conducting telephone surveys with participating families at the Child and Family Hub at IPC Health in Wyndham Vale as part of the 12-month follow-up evaluation. Key challenges within this role will likely include contributing to a busy research program, engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, and managing competing priorities and fast-paced timelines.

**Your responsibilities include**:
Organising CRE meetings (including taking and distributing minutes within a timely fashion)
Broader CRE stakeholder coordination and management; coordinate and monitor internal and external stakeholder input; support activities CRE projects, investigators and partners
Coordinating internal and external communication, including a regular CRE newsletter (via Campaign monitor), internal updates, and dissemination of resources
Maintaining social media and online presence, including regular website updates (via Umbraco), regular Twitter posts and liaising with other Communications teams

**About you**:
Tertiary qualification in health (e.g., health science, public health), project management, administration, or relevant field
Confident in project coordination or support
Demonstrated experience working within a research environment
Experience working in large, multi-site research studies is desired
