**Position Type**:Temporary 6 month contract with the possibility of extension

**Salary**: $80.000-$90.000 plus superannuation

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Age Care Project worker to join our team. The Age Care project worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our organisation's human capital and fostering a positive work environment.

**Position Overview**

As an Aged Care Project Worker at Assist Ability Australia, you will play a vital role in the development, implementation, and accreditation of aged care services. You will work closely with the Leaderships & Inclusions Manager to create and enhance programs that align with the CHSP framework and expand our fee-for-service offerings. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our elderly clients, enabling them to maintain their independence, dignity, and overall quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Leaderships & Inclusions Manager to design, implement, and manage aged care projects that align with the CHSP guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct thorough research to identify gaps in existing services and propose innovative solutions to address the evolving needs of the aging population.
- Assist in the development of new fee-for-service offerings that cater to specific client preferences and requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of aged care projects, including coordinating resources, managing timelines, and tracking project milestones.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and achieve necessary accreditations for new and existing services.
- Conduct regular assessments of aged care programs, analyzing their effectiveness and gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff members and caregivers involved in delivering aged care services, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and communication strategies to increase awareness of our aged care services and attract new clients.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to aged care projects, accreditations, and fee-for-service offerings.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Aged Care, Health Services Management, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the aged care sector.
- Knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) guidelines and requirements.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and regulations within the aged care industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management, documentation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Google suite.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
