The Opportunity

In this role you will be a key member of the Remediation Services team, responsible for identifying, instigating and delivering chemical cleaning and remediation projects for Veolia. Under the guidance and mentorship of the Senior Project Engineer, you will ensure Veolia's projects are delivered in
accordance with all project objectives and within the parameters of regulatory and corporate requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid, early career experience in chemical or process engineering looking for a start with a major global organisation and hoping to join a close-knit and cooperative team of professionals.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Apply knowledge of chemical engineering, specialising in chemical cleaning and decontamination.
  • Interpret scopes of work to identify resources and methodology required.
  • Apply knowledge of EPA, Worksafe and other regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of tender responses, in particular project delivery methodology and resources
  • In-field management and supervision of projects
  • Be the primary point of contact with the client at a contract level.
     

What you'll need to be successful

  • Strong chemical or process engineering skills
  • Practical experience in Quality, Environmental and OH&S Management systems including contractor management in field based or industrial environments.
  • Driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home.
