**The role**
As the corporate concierge, you will be the first point of contact representing APRA. You will play an important front of house role to ensure our stakeholders and staff experience is of the highest level of service. This includes front of house coordination, facilities support, and managing the security facilities.
**The team**
The Concierge operates as part of the Property and Facilities team (PF) within the Chief of Staff and Enterprise Division of APRA. This division is responsible for supporting the achievement of APRA’s corporate strategies, policies, and procedures. This involves the delivery of various services to APRA’s internal clients and external stakeholders utilising both internal and external resources.
**Key responsibilities**
- Managing the general reception functions while supporting the day-to-day operations of Sydney Facilities;
- Managing a switchboard and ensuring calls are answered promptly and efficiently;
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers;
- Assist with physical security as part of the facilities function such as access passes, End Of Trip and tenancy access;
- Support the Facilities team in dealing with issues relating to the maintenance and communication of facilities and property matters; and
- Be the initial contact point for less complex facilities enquiries and assist in the effective dissemination of administrative information throughout APRA, including support of interstate offices.
**About you**
- Relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or reception;
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and comfortable working independently;
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office suites;
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Sense of initiative to be able to identify areas of administrative improvement and take ownership of processes; and
- Experience with service desk workflow platforms.
