The Controls and Customer Outcomes (CCO) team resides within the Retail Bank. CCO’s purpose is to drive sustainable enhancements to business practices and processes that deliver better outcomes for our customers, shareholders and the community. We do this through our four strategic pillars of preventing, detecting and responding to issues and embedding and sustaining the change we make into the business we support.

The Risk & Control Advisory & Delivery team is responsible for ensuring that strong controls are in place and decisions are well informed, timely and socialised. They achieve this through providing an end to end risk and control service, including the effective design & implementation of controls, ensuring the operational risk & compliance frameworks are effectively implemented in their BU’s and also ensuring each BU LT has the right level of comfort and governance within their risk environment.

The Risk & Control Advisory Manager (Risk Profile and Governance) is responsible for ensuring that appropriate governance is in place across RBS in respect of suppliers and models in line with Group Frameworks, Standards and Policies.

**Key responsibilities for this role includes**:

- Forge strong relationships with key internal business partners across RBS CCO as well as RBS more broadly to assist the business in delivering on key operational risk and compliance requirements.
- Support the Business to instil a risk and compliance culture as best practice and basic instinct within the business as a whole, ensuring that the business understands, supports and appreciates the role of risk management and compliance.
- Support RBS Lines of Business with the implementation of new Non-Financial Risk Frameworks and Policies including:

- Ensure that the Risk management activities (supplier risk assessment refreshes, model policy requirements) are being carried out in a timely, accurate and complete manner across RBS and appropriate ratings/tierings have been applied
- Manage workshops across RBS to ensure BU/SUs are aware of the Group requirements with respect to Supplier Management and Model Policy

- Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems
- In depth knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks
- Strong organizational and planning skills
