**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 8-month contract paying $420-$440/Day + Super. This role is located in Parramatta/Hybrid.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for providing high quality executive, project and administrative support, to enable the efficient and effective operation of the Business Unit.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Supporting a portfolio of unique projects where flood damage has occurred across the asset base and remediation is required. Noting that the core asset base is diverse and ranges from dams, water regulating structures, bridges, roads, canals, embankments, buildings and other assets
- Balance competing requirements of a large volume of project support work
- Regular interaction with and coordination support across external and internal stakeholders including insurance, financial, operational, and project delivery teams
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the ongoing development of the assigned portfolio
- Provide administration and coordination of project and insurance related financial transactions
- Supporting the management of contracts, contractors and consultants including cost tracking and reporting for the project team and other stakeholders

**About You**:

- Certificate level qualifications in business/legal administration, project management or equivalent
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
- Effective communication style both written and verbal
- Business support management and or project support experience (favourable)
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
