**About the role**

The Sponsorship Officer Arts, Sport and Initiatives works across a range of arts and sport initiatives, including coordinating the implementation of identified sponsorship activities and events, liaising with external stakeholders and departmental personnel, and developing and coordinating communication and stakeholder engagement strategies across a range of existing and emerging arts and sport sponsorships and commercial arrangements.

Aspects of the role include but are not limited to;
- Sponsor acquisition and relationship management
- Delivery of sponsor benefits and reporting
- Coordinating sponsor communications including social media
- Collating marketing collateral
- Coordinating live event activations and sponsor attendance

**About you**
- Must have external stakeholder engagement experience
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Current or willing to obtain working with Children Check for paid employment
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education

**Key knowledge and experience**

Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
