**The opportunity**

At QBE we have an exciting opportunity to join our team of industry professionals in this Motor Salvage Claims Officer role based out of our global Head Office in Parramatta. **Your new role**
- Process salvage claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring that claims are documented correctly, and resolved with a prompt and effective outcome
- Assist in recovering and allocating funds for salvage claims to progress claims as necessary
- Provide an exceptional operational and customer service experience for diverse internal and external stakeholders including our customers, brokers, organisations, and partnerships
- Manage salvage claims using the appropriate external and internal specialists
- Promote QBE's products and services through fostering great relationships with customers and stakeholders, showcasing our QBEDNA and company values
- Enhance and develop your own technical expertise with support and participate in professional development and training where required
- Happy to talk flexible working

**About you**
- Previous administration experience is required
- Previous Motor Claims experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to handle multiple and competing tasks to meet customer needs
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to critically assess and analyse tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a highly empathetic approach
- An engaging and courteous phone manner with the ability to type and talk concurrently
