Medical Receptionist/ Medical Secretary

Norwest clinic (Suite 303, Level 3, 10 Century Circuit, Baulkham Hills, NSW-2153) is seeking a mature, responsible and empathetic Medical Receptionist/Medical Secretary to assist with patient enquiries, bookings and other tasks.
Must be available to work all five days from 9:30 to 4:30 pm
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years of experience of working as a medical receptionist/secretary is a must (worked in a GP or specialist clinic).
- High attention to detail.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and take instructions. Willing to work as a team player.
- Knowledge of Medicare and DVA requirements.
- Able to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Calm and respectful towards patients.
- Fast learner.
- Fast typing skills.
- Ability to take direction.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience with Power diary (preferred not essential)
- Experience of working in a psychiatric or psychological clinic is preferred.
Duties
- Assisting with patient enquiries
- Patient bookings
- Patient billing
- Answering the phone
- Typing doctors’ letters from Dictaphones.
- Filing, scanning, faxing and saving documents.
- Invoicing insurance.
- Other duties as directed.
Available for immediate start.
