**About the Role**

The IT Operations Manager play’s a critical role in the NHVR’s success by ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and systems. With offices located across Australia, you will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure systems and services supports business requirements now and into the future.

Our IT operations has evolved as the NHVR experiences transformational change and growth. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing an IT infrastructure solution including disaster recovery plans and future investment roadmap that is aligned with the strategic direction and maintains business continuity.

Significant to the role is managing external service providers including outsource arrangements to drive supplier performance and governance. Reporting directly to the Director Technology Operations and Cyber Security, your expertise and drive to make a change will guide you in building on the momentum of the existing team.

This is a full-time position and will be offered as a 3-year term contract with annual review and opportunity to extend on successful performance.

**About You**

With extensive experience in IT operations in a complex and national environment, you will demonstrate initiative, leadership and a strategic mindset to drive efficiencies and change.

ITIL trained, you will have demonstrated experience in building robust, fit for purpose IT governance, processes and systems, which are effectively operationalised and add value.

As an effective communicator, you will partner with vendors and internal stakeholders with ease. Leveraging your strong interpersonal skills, you will be familiar with leading a decentralised team and building a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and developing others.

Your experience in business continuity, disaster recovery and budget planning will be critical to your success.
