**About the Role**

Our Shift Operator - Shipping assists in the safe and efficient running of our bulk fuel terminal as well as overseeing the discharging fuel from ships.

Day to day, responsibilities include the managing of the daily terminal operations to ensure that safe and reliable operations are maintained, and that the needs of customers are met in a timely manner with due regard to HSSE, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships, product stewardship & customer service.

The role assists in managing our 24/7 shipping, product transfer and bunkering activities, including tankship discharges, loading at the products terminal, loading bunkering vessels, and managing infrastructure to facilitate product transfers.

This position is a fulltime shift role requiring flexible availability for a 24/7 shift roster and the ability to work day and night shift rosters as required.

**About You**

Being a go-getter with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as is a willingness to learn new things, great time management skills and solid organisational skills. An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus as is an ability to use MS Office software. If you have previous experience working in high-risk environments this is desirable, as safety is always our number one priority.

If you also have previous shipping experience this is highly desirable but not essential - ATOM provides all necessary training to get you up to speed as an accredited Shore Officer and set up for success.

Being able to work a shift roster and flexible availability is required as the operational needs of our Brisbane terminals spans 24/7.
