**About the role**

The Coordinator reports to and works closely with the PRCG Executive Committee to lead and deliver the group’s vision for the Parramatta River. The person is responsible for leadership of the PRCG secretariat team and advocacy at a regional level on catchment issues. Within the Inner West Council host organisation, the role will report to the Senior Manager Environment and Sustainability and will work closely with the Manager Parks Planning and Ecology, as well as being the conduit to our counterparts at member Councils and major partners such as Sydney Water, to promote and deliver the PRCG strategic plan and vision for the Parramatta River.

Fixed term contract up to 30 June 2029.

**Remuneration**

$116,703.08 - $139,955.92 + Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Degree level qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Planning, Engineering, Urban Design, Communications, Business Management or related disciplines or another relevant field of study and/ or substantial relevant training and experience
- Substantial, demonstrated experience in a similar leadership or governance role coordinating multi-agency/ inter-organisational and/or regional programs
- Demonstrated experience working with senior managers and elected representatives within local government and/or state government
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing staff
